Access to Inclusive Drugs and Devices
This is an archive of dental devices and drugs that we hope to bring into Singapore and the wider ASEAN region. This includes:
The 5000ppm sodium fluoride toothpaste. This super-charged prescription-only toothpaste helps to strengthen teeth against dental decay. Particularly essential for persons who have undergone head and neck radiotherapy, extreme dry mouth, those with gastro-intestinal reflux, or those with uncontrolled cravings.
The hand-held portable dental periapical x-ray. This is one of the lowest radiation x-ray devices, which produces less than 1 hour of sunshine equivalent of radiation per dose. This can easily be blocked by a conventional wall or door. The hand-held x-ray, like a water gun, is used in domiciliary care settings, for veterinary or forensic purposes due to its high portability. We will require this to provide for home-bound persons and within the operating theatre.
The portable dental unit. This is also used for domiciliary dental service. However due to very limited services providing this, suppliers find it less lucrative to import this.
And many more...
